My primary focus has been painting, but a significant aspect of my practice revolves around the journey of discovering and experimenting with new materials and disciplines. Through this exploration, I constantly push the boundaries of my creativity, resulting in unique and captivating works of art.

I am inspired by —

My artistic inspiration flows from the world around me - the people, forms, and shapes that inhabit my life. I draw energy from my relationships and conversations, observing how individuals present themselves, their movements, and even my own presence. This human connection fuels my creative journey, giving life to my work and allowing others to engage with the essence of these experiences through my art.

Every day I —

Try to paint, illustrate or create. It doesn’t  matter in what form I try to challenge myself in that way to stay creative and keep it flowing. I have seen this helped with my creative process.

I take care of myself by—

I'm of Moluccan descent, and next year, I'm embarking on my first ever voyage to the Moluccan Islands. This trip promises to be a source of immense inspiration and serenity as I reunite with family and soak in the island's natural beauty.

words I love —

"Komt goed"

A Dutch saying tattooed on my arms, serves as a daily reminder that everything will be fine, no matter what. It's a reassuring message that keeps me grounded and confident in the face of any challenge.

My favourite Abel scent —

White Vetiver is my all-time favorite scent. It's the kind of fragrance I can wear every day and never grow tired of. It has a fresh, youthful, and timeless appeal that always feels new.
