In an attempt to rid their future selves of unproductive emotion, people are encouraged to dive into past lives to purify past trauma. Beautiful, uneasy and incredibly original.

Real Estate by Deborah Levy — a memoir based on the authors own desire to own real estate, and the universal need to create a home of ones own. So relatable and heartfelt, written with both humour and sincerity.

The portrait paintings of American artist Alice Neel. A great American painter of the twentieth century and a pioneer among women artists, her portraits of friends, family, lovers and strangers are gestural, instinctive and deeply imbued with the character of each.
